The number of marriages in the country has decreased – Oxu.az

In January-July this year, district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 26,837 marriages and 12,370 divorces.

Oku.Az reports that the State Statistics Committee has published information on this matter.

The number of marriages per 1,000 people was reported to have decreased from 4.9 to 4.5, and the number of divorces remained unchanged and at the same level (2.1).
