The number of people missing due to DANA in Valencia falls to the minimum with five without an increase in the number of deaths

The number of people missing because of DANA in Valencia fell to single digits this Friday minimum of five peoplewhile the total number of deaths due to these floods remains at 221, according to the latest report updated at 8 p.m. from the Data Integration Center (CID).

All the deceased had the autopsy and they are fully identified. Compared to the information from the day before, Thursday, November 21, no body was received in the last 24 hours at the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia (IML), but the forensic doctors carried out an additional autopsy and there has two new identifications.

These last two deaths – both women– were located, one in Torrent, on Wednesday, and the other in the municipality of Sedaví (and not in the neighborhood of La Torre, in Valencia, as was initially calculated), this Thursday.

Until now, the two deceased people were missing, so after their identification, the number of active cases waiting to be located was reduced from seven to five.

Of the total number of deaths recorded so far, 171 have been identified by fingerprints46 by analysis of DNA and four others were identified in hospitals when admitted alive.
