At the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, 6,449 teachers were employed in state and non-state secondary specialized educational institutions operating in Azerbaijan. 5,123 of them are women.
Ekonomiyyat.az reports that this information is reflected in the collection “Education, Science and Culture in Azerbaijan-2024” of the State Statistics Committee.
The official publication states that 10 of those working in these educational institutions are doctors of science and 106 are doctors of philosophy. Also, 8 of the teachers who teach in state and non-state specialized secondary education institutions are professors and 31 are associate professors.
