La Sierra Shopping Center joins the World Cleanup Daywhich is celebrating its fifth edition this year next Saturday September 21 with the aim of raising awareness among the population to keep the planet clean in its closest spaces.
This is why La Sierra, in collaboration with Sadeco and the City Council of Cordoba have organized a cleaning day for this day in the El Patriarca Urban Parkwhich all volunteers who wish to join can join, by registering by clicking on the following link until Saturday, September 21. Participants in this activity will receive a campaign t-shirt as a gift. In addition, among all those who join the campaign, there will be a draw. a car for 100 euros in purchases at the Carrefour hypermarket.
The day also benefits from the collaboration of the firefighters of Cordoba, El Arca de Noé and the GEA Volunteer Association.
“In this way and because of its commitment to the planet, La Sierra joins this global program aimed at raising awareness among the population against the production of waste and the pollution that waste causes in nature,” the shopping center says in a note.
Origin of World Cleanup Day
World Cleanup Day originated in Estonia in 2008, when around 50,000 people cleaned up the entire country in just five daysand since 2018, it has been a coordinated cleaning action around the world, becoming one of the largest collective ecological movements.
