The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region: soldiers of the Armed Forces of Russia may fall into the “cauldron”

The Ukrainian armed forces have launched a new offensive operation in the Kursk region, as a result of which Russian troops are under threat of encirclement. According to the Khorne Group unit of the 116th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, about 8,000 Russian soldiers could end up in the so-called “cauldron” if they do not withdraw from their occupied positions.

Representatives of the Khorne Group of the 116th Mechanized Infantry Brigade reported that the Ukrainian operation is gaining momentum and now the Russian military has two options: to leave a much larger area or its forces will be completely surrounded. The military stressed that this operation is reminiscent in scope of the historic Operation Bagration.

“Russians must choose between shame and death,” the unit added, warning that further attempts at a Russian counteroffensive would not lead to success.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military noted that in recent days the Russian media have been actively spreading disinformation, trying to present the actions of the Russian army in a favorable light, but this has nothing to do with the real situation at the front.

Earlier, Kursor reported that soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released from captivity learned for the first time about the fighting in the Kursk region.

For the soldiers, who spent more than 900 days in captivity, this news was especially significant.

Kursor also wrote that Putin found himself in a new trap after the bold operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

The Russians did not expect active actions of Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Kursk region.
