The PSOE, Por Andalucía and Adelante Andalucía jointly register an extraordinary session following the first decisions of the court and the request for documentation from the public prosecutor’s office
The formal start of the Court’s investigation against the three leaders of SAS since 2021 and the first request for information which relates to even more contracts and reports than those included in the complaint formulated by the PSOE-A also gave place at a increased political pressure from opposition groups in the Andalusian Parliament. The PSOE, Por Andalucía and Adelante Andalucía jointly registered a proposal to hold a general debate, while the Socialists formalized their announcement requesting a specific appearance of the Andalusian president, Juanma Moreno.
The PSOE, the complainant party, focused its political argument on the intervention reports on the SAS emergency contracts in 2022 and 2023. “which specify that the report of receipt of what was carried out is missing and that the necessary checks have not been carried out”; in the vast request for information from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office accepted by the Junta de Andalucía and in the admission to the processing of its complaint against the current director of the SAS, Valle García, for the amendments signed in 2024. “It is “This is a situation of extreme seriousness to which the Andalusian Government must respond,” declared socialist parliamentarian Rafael Márquez.
With this base, The PSOE proposes a new extension of the complaintwould be the third, in addition to a battery of initiatives registered in the Andalusian Parliament, among which is the request for the appearance of the Andalusian president, Juanma Moreno.
Likewise, in coordination with the parliamentary groups of Por Andalucía and Adelante Andalucía, the request for a general debate has been formally registered on emergency contracts signed by the SAS which must in any case be accepted by the Chamber Council, in which the PP has an absolute majority.
