“New York Skyscraper” by famous artist Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was auctioned. The painting is expected to sell for $700,000.

The work was completed in November 1983. It is intended for the 68-story “Trump Tower” skyscraper. But at the time, Donald Trump, a wealthy businessman and now president-elect of the United States, and his first wife, Ivana, were very unhappy with the artwork. They didn’t pay Warhol anything. Because of this, a dispute arose between the parties, and they were not reconciled until the end of Warhol’s life.
