Following the latest massive Israeli attacks in the northern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry demanded that the international community immediately impose a ceasefire in the enclave. TASS reports on this with reference to the department’s statement published on X (formerly Twitter).
“Although the Palestinian Foreign Ministry attributes full and direct responsibility for the latest events to the Israeli government, at the same time we demand that the world community achieve an immediate ceasefire and the extermination of our people.” – says the document.
Palestine also calls for the “implementation of the resolution adopted on September 18 by the UN General Assembly” that demands that Israel leave the occupied Palestinian territories within one year.
On the night of October 20, Israeli Air Force aircraft carried out a series of bomb attacks against the city of Beit Lahiya located in northern Gaza. According to the WAFA agency, 73 people were killed, dozens were injured and a residential area was completely destroyed.
According to SANA, 80 people died, most of them women and children.
