The Parliament of Georgia recognized the powers of deputies who boycotted their work

The Parliament of Georgia recognized the powers of the 150 deputies. Deputies of the ruling Georgian Dream party, which received 89 seats as a result of the elections, voted in favor of it at the first meeting of the 11th convocation on November 25. Opposition parties that entered parliament previously announced a boycott of parliament’s work and declared that they would not accept parliamentary mandates.

88 parliamentarians voted in favor of recognizing the powers of all deputies.

Due to the absence of the President, Salomé Zurabishvili, who joined the opposition, opened the Kakhadze side.
