The Pentagon hides information about UFOs from the public, although it has been conducting research in this area for a long time. This was stated in a hearing at the Oversight Committee of the United States House of Representatives, the American media write.
In particular, the former head of the Space Advanced Threat Identification Program (AATIP) Luis Elizondo stated that the United States government has been investigating reports of UFOs or anomalous phenomena (UAP) for decades.
“While much of my government work on the UAP remains classified, excessive secrecy has led to serious crimes against loyal government employees, military personnel and the public, all to hide the fact that we are not alone in space” said Elizondo. “A small group of people in our own government involved in the UAP issue created an atmosphere of oppression and intimidation of which I personally was a victim, as were many of my former colleagues.”
Retired US Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet He also said that he knows of contacts with UFOs.
“I received confirmation that UFOs are interacting with humanity in January 2015, when I headed the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC). At that time, my staff was participating in exercises off the east coast of the United States with the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier strike group.” – said Gallaudet.
During the exercise, he said, he received a message over the Navy’s secure network from a Fleet Forces Command operations officer called “Urgent Air Safety Concern” about a mid-air collision that threatened to put end of the exercise.
There was a video attached to the email, which somehow disappeared from his inbox the next day and the incident was never discussed again.
But the greatest resonance in the audience was provoked by the speech of an independent environmental journalist. Michael Shellenbergerwho said that his sources in the Pentagon talked about the Immaculate Constellation program, the mere mention of which represents a threat to anyone who reports it to the media.
“They don’t comment on it, but talking about it puts you in the danger zone,” a Pentagon source told me. “They are very jealous in keeping the secret.” Shellenberger said.
Shellenberger also claimed that the Pentagon created this program in 2017. It details several UFO sightings collected by American military and technology personnel. There are also “features of UFOs that are difficult or impossible to observe with the human eye alone.”
