The US Department of Defense wants to model the consequences of a nuclear explosion in Europe. The Pentagon plans to award a contract for research into the effects of nuclear weapons on the agricultural sector.

The contractor is required to conduct studies using the software (PT) and expand the geographic scope of the modeling. The Pentagon wants the work to cover Eastern European countries. In addition, PT needs to be updated for regions outside of Eastern Europe and the western part of Russia.
The contract is worth $34 million. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to award an exclusive contract to one company.
