Furthermore, four of the victims died after being admitted to different hospitals. Of the 218 identifications of the deceased, 169 were made through fingerprint analysis and 45 by DNA.

At the same time, the CID has carried out a detailed analysis of the deaths recorded so far in this disaster. In the absence of the last two confirmed cases, its most significant conclusions are as follows: 131 are men and 85 are women104 of the deceased were aged 70 or over (15 were nonagenarians) and 26 of them were foreigners, of 11 different nationalities. The search for victims by DANA continues in Albufera and its area of ​​influence, as well as at sea and in areas such as La Reva, in Riba-roja (Valencia), and the Poyo Ravine. According to the general director of Forest Fire Prevention, Rosa Tourís, the work of the troops intervening in the affected areas focuses on three areas: the search and location of possible victims; the operation to evacuate goods and sludge and the rehabilitation of infrastructure “to move towards an initial situation of normality, particularly among the most affected populations”.
