The police increase to 16 the number of people sanctioned for the battle between ultras of Málaga and Dépor

The National Police proposed a sanction to those responsible for the altercations that occurred before the Dépor-Málaga match, organized in La Coruña on October 6. In total, they identified 16 peopletwo of them are Deportivo ultras who were arrested and then released.

The total amount of sanctions currently amounts to more than 30,000 euros. The sanctions are distributed among the identified people, so that everyone pays between 1,500 and 3,000 euros. In addition, all of them would result in a ban on access to sports facilities for a period of between 1 and 6 months.

“Both the Provincial Citizen Security Brigade of La Coruña and the investigation groups assigned to this police station are working so that the events that occurred on October 6, linked to the football match between Málaga CF and Deportivo de La Coruña, do not do not go unpunished,” representatives of the organization said in a statement.

The proposed sanctions respond to the provisions of Law 19/2007 of July 11 against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport (CVRXID). Among those identified and proposed for sanction are both Depor and Malaga supporters.
