The police reveal CCTV information about the death of journalists in the Jakbar Hotel

The police are still investigating the death of the initials SW (32), Journalist from PaluCentral Sulawesi, who died in a hotel room in West Jakarta. Based on the results of CCTV recordings, the victim was last seen with witnesses in the hotel.

Head of the Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Inndradi said from the results of CCTV recordings and witness statements said that no one else came in the victim’s room at the estimated time of the death toll.

“Based on CCTV analysis, since witness V together with the victim while he was still alive on April 3, 2025, on 18.50 CIRT until the victim’s body was found, nobody came in the victim’s room and the victim was not checked from the room,” Ade Ary said on Saturday (6/4/2025).

Ade Ary did not explain in detail who the witness V was and what they were related to the victim.

“(Witness) a woman,” he added.

Not yet known the cause of death of the victim so far. Currently, however, the victim’s body is in the autopsee process in the Kramat Jati Hospital.

“The body is again in the Kramat Jati Hospital. The family has also invited an autopsy,” says Kasat Resk West Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Arfan Zokan Sipayung, Saturday (5/4).
