The Polish Foreign Minister did not rule out the expulsion of the Russian ambassador

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said he is considering closing all remaining Russian consular missions in the country.

As reported by Reuters, the corresponding statement was made by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after a meeting of foreign ministers of European countries in the “Weimar Triangle Plus” format in Warsaw.

According to him, such measures could be taken if Russia allegedly continues to organize “acts of sabotage in Europe.”

“I closed the consulate in Poznan. If they don’t stop, we will close the remaining ones.” – Sikorsky promised.

He also admitted the possible expulsion of the ambassador of the Russian Federation in the future, which would mean a break in diplomatic relations.

Recall that on October 22, Sikorsky announced the decision to close the Russian Consulate General in Poznan and expel its staff from the country. The Russian Foreign Ministry promised not to delay with an adequate response.

As reported EADailythe building of the Russian Consulate General closed in Poznan, the Polish authorities can transfer it to Ukraine at your request.
