During the celebration of Affiliate Day At the San Mateo Fairs, in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), the general secretary and parliamentary spokesperson of the Popular Party of Castilla-La Mancha, Carolina Agudo, regretted that the PSOE of Page continues to betray the region by endorsing the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, and showing him his unquestionable and unequivocal support.
In reference to the meeting that the president of the region, Emiliano Garcia-Page, will have on October 4 with Pedro Sánchez, Agudo asked him to demand that guarantee that the AVE will pass through Talavera; to deliver the Regional Water Pact that was signed four years ago and has not yet had the “courage” to deliver it and announce that it does not count on the votes of the socialist deputies of Castilla-La Mancha to commit abuses such as the Catalan quota.
Agudo also criticized the fact that Page went to the Talavera Fairs on Saturday to announce an investment for the city from the PSOE tent and with the municipal spokesman of the opposition instead of the mayor of the city. For this reason, he described it as a great lack of loyalty to the mayor, José Julián Gregorio, and to the Talaveranos.
For his part, the provincial president of the Popular Party and mayor of Toledo, Carlos Velázquez, appreciated the Excellent work done by the PP at the head of the Talavera city hall de la Reina, headed by its mayor, José Julián Gregorio, and was convinced that “these months have shown that Talavera needs a change.”
Velázquez assured that the change in the city of Talavera de la Reina is evident since the city council is led by a PP mayor, “because this city needed a government that is dedicated to working for the Talavera people, that is why it is really interested in the people.”
