The PP creates an office in Malaga for refugees from Latin American dictatorships

On October 12, after the Civil Guard events for Pilar Day in Alhaurín de la Torre and to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day, the president of the PP of Málaga, Patricia Navarro, announced the creation of the Office for Freedom and Democracy. The objective is to provide political and legal support to the thousands of Latin American citizens who reside in the province of Malaga, in addition to betting on a Freedom Forum give visibility and constantly fight against the lack of human rights suffered by the citizens of these countries.

This October 12, Hispanic Heritage Day, the provincial president recalled that the historical and cultural ties that unite all Spanish speakers are celebrated, sharing thea language, values, heritage and a common future: “It is a day to reaffirm our commitment to the freedom and democracy that identify us.”

Navarro influenced the People’s Party’s fierce defense of democratic values faced with the “cynicism” of Pedro Sánchez’s government and recalled that democracy “is not only about a system of government but the guarantee that every voice counts, that every person has the right to express themselves freely and participate in building their future.”

“Freedom is the pillar on which our societies are built and we must all be able to live with dignity and respect“, emphasized Navarro, who highlighted the “solid democracy, built through a lot of effort.” “We cannot take this for granted; We must be vigilant and prepared to defend it against any threat,” he stressed.

In this sense, he alluded to how the situation in Venezuela “reminds us that freedom and democracy can be fragile. We must therefore work tirelessly to protect it. » “The People’s Party is a democratic and constitutionalist party and we will never stop defending what is best for our citizens. Neither fear nor pressure has any place in our country,” he said.
