The PP says Sánchez is at the heart of the “eight highways of corruption” that besiege the PSOE, the government and his family

The Secretary General of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, today positioned President Pedro Sánchez as the “link” that unites the “eight highways of corruption“who besiege” his government, his party and his family environment.

Pedro Sánchez is suffocated by corruption“Because of his parliamentary weakness and political discredit,” Gamarra said, “he is a surrounded president. The sooner he accepts this and stops tarnishing the name of Spain, the better.”

Gamarra made these statements after the Steering Committee of the PP, which agreed to file a complaint tomorrow, Monday, before the National Court against the PSOE for alleged crimes of illegal financing, corruption and influence peddling.

1. “Abalos Affair”

The PP assumes that José Luis Ábalos “directed” the plot of what was until now called Koldo affairwhen he was Minister of Transport and Secretary of the PSOE Organization.

The latest report sent by the UCO to National Court judge Ismael Moreno indicates that Ábalos received compensation (such as pay the rent on a cottage for his girlfriend, Jessica) of the conspiracy that sold masks to different ministries during the pandemic.

As reported by EL ESPAÑOL, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office will ask Judge Ismael Moreno to refer the case to the Supreme Court, which has jurisdiction to investigate Ábalos in his capacity as a certified person.

2. Globalia masks and rescue

Cuca Gamarra indicated that this plot (which had Víctor de Aldama and Koldo García as commissioners) “widespread within the Government in around ten ministries“, like those of Transport and Interior, who purchased masks from the network. Also public companies like Puertos del Estado, thanks to the efforts of the councilor of Ábalos at the time, Koldo Garcia.

But the general secretary of the PP also mentioned the Minister of Economy, Nadia Calviño, head of rescue of 475 million euros that SEPI granted to Air Europain the form of participatory loans, in record time.

The UCO report indicates that commissionaire Víctor de Aldama and minister Ábalos exerted pressure to promote the operation, studied in a meeting attended by President Pedro Sánchez and the minister. Nadia Calvino.

3. Balearic and Canary Islands

Gamarra recalled that, thanks to the mediation of Koldo, the network also sold masks to the autonomous communities of the Balearic Islands (then chaired by Francina Armengol, now president of the Congress of Deputies) and the Canary Islands (whose leader was Ángel Víctor Torres, today Minister of Territorial Policy).

When the scandal broke, Francina Armengol was “very indignant” and assured that, when she presided over the government, she never spoke with Koldo García to manage the purchase of masks from the company. Management solutions.

However, the UCO report highlighted the affectionate WhatsApp messages in which Koldo García and Francina Armengol discussed this issue: “Okay, darling, I will inform you”, indicated the conspiracy commissioner to whom the current president of Congress.

4. Delcy’s suitcases

The “fourth highway of corruption” described by the PP “crossed the Atlantic Ocean to dealings with the tyranny of Venezuela“, said Cuca Gamarra.

He thus alluded to the visit that the Vice-President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez made to Spain in January 2020 (organized by Almada, and at the invitation of Ábalos), when she was prohibited from setting foot on Spanish soil due to sanctions imposed by the EU.

As reported by EL ESPAÑOL this Sunday, Delcy Rodríguez took advantage of this trip to bring suitcases containing money to Spain, according to Aldama himself, who came to receive her at Barajas airport in the company of Minister Ábalos.

Pedro Sánchez knew it“, said Aldama, who also boasted of his frequent visits to Moncloa, according to information published by this newspaper.

In the press conference offered this Sunday from the headquarters on rue Génova, Cuca Gamarra described this trip by the Chavista leader as “indecent”.with their suitcases loaded with gold or silver“.

“Now we know that Pedro Sánchez knew it, authorized it then lied facing the Spaniards”, he added. Since 2020, the government has proposed multiple (and contradictory) versions of this trip by Delcy Rodríguez, sanctioned by the EU for violation of human rights in Venezuela.

5. Hydrocarbon fraud

The judge of the National Court Santiago Pedraz on Thursday ordered the imprisonment of Víctor de Aldama (who, in addition to being commissioner of the conspiracy, was president of Zamora CF) for his involvement in the fifth “highway of corruption” mentioned by the PP: an alleged VAT fraud of 180 million euros in hydrocarbon purchasing operations.

6. “Begoña Affair”

The president of the Court of Instruction number 48 of Madrid, Juan Carlos Peinadoinvestigation into the case against the wife of the president of the government, Begoña Gomezfor influence peddling and corruption in private companies.

In a resolution issued on September 24, the Madrid Provincial Court gave Judge Peinado carte blanche to continue this investigation in all its ramifications, with the exception of the rescue of Air Europa.

Among the facts under investigation is the decision of the Complutense University to entrust Begoña Gómez with the leadership of a chair (after a visit from the rector to Moncloa) and the use of a softwarepaid to the university, which the president’s wife then used on a website registered in her name.

Pedro Sánchez (through the Attorney General’s Office) and Begoña Gómez both filed complaints against Judge Peinado in an attempt to exclude him from the case.

7. “Brother Affair”

The president of the Court of Instruction number 3 of Badajoz, Beatriz Biedmainvestigation of the brother of Pedro Sánchez, musician known as David Azagra, for alleged crimes against the Public Treasury, influence peddling, prevarication and embezzlement, following a complaint filed by Manos Limpas.

The Provincial Council of Badajoz, governed by the PSOE, hired David Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, who nevertheless declares himself resident in Portugal, where he benefits from a tax rate much lower than that of Spain. In its report addressed to the judge, the Tax Administration considers that this fact does not constitute any irregularity.

Until the start of the investigation, the officials of the Provincial Council had never met the brother of the President of the Government at the headquarters of the institution. The judge is trying to clarify whether David Azagra benefited from preferential treatment during hiring.

8. Money bags in Ferraz

A confidant of the hydrocarbon plot led by Víctor de Aldama said he participated in the delivery of bags worth 90,000 euros to the socialist headquarters of Ferraz. This testimony is the basis of the complaint that the PP plans to file on Monday before the National Court against the PSOE for illegal financing, corruption and influence peddling.
