The Popular Party presented to the Senate the four candidates for the board of directors of the Spanish Radio Television (RTVE) that the chamber must appoint.
The people chosen, as EL ESPAÑOL learned, to fill four of the fifteen available positions are Eladio Jareño, Marina Vila Menor, Rubén Moreno and Ignacio Ruiz-Jarabo.
The popular people are thus taking the step forward by joining the RTVE council, even if they initially considered leaving vacant the seats that the Senate must appoint, according to the decree approved by the government in October.
Jareño is a journalist and knows the house since he was director of TVE between 2016 and 2019. For her part, Marina Vila is currently editor-in-chief of the public channel. For his part, Rubén Moreno is currently spokesperson for the Popular Party on health, while Ignacio Ruiz-Jarabo was director of the Tax Agency during the time of José María Aznar as president of the government.
