The municipal group of Popular Party at Pamplona City Hall presented this Thursday in plenary session a declaration asking the MCP will make regional urban transport tickets free for the companions of disabled people.

“This supposes a double cost for people or families with one member with a disability who need help from third parties, taking into account, in addition, that families in which people with disabilities live together in general, and people with intellectual disabilities in particular , bear a very significant average annual additional economic burden.
Thus, from the municipal group was requested at the plenary session of Pamplona City Hall to urge the MCP “to present within three months a modification of the Regional Regulatory Ordinance for Urban Transport in order to establish the free ticket for the companion of travelers with reduced mobility, a visual impairment, as well as a mental, sensory or intellectual disability who require the help of a third person in their journey.
