The prosecution is demanding three and a half years in prison for the offense of embezzlement on behalf of president and the treasurer of a protective of animals from Ontinyent (Valencia) for the remaining part of a legacy of 115,772 euros that a woman had made a donation to the association after her death.

The trial is scheduled for next Monday, November 25, at the Provincial Court of Valencia, as reported by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV).

This happened in June 2015, when the entity accepted the money, which was entered into its account. account bankingin which the two managers were authorized to operate, in addition to the secretary. To dispose of funds or carry out transactions, authorization was required from two of the three people making up the board of directors.

According to the prosecution, the two defendants agreed to keep the money they recovered species or with the cancelation of a credit without proving that it was used to satisfy the needs of the entity.
