“The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will visit Azerbaijan to participate in the COP29 climate conference, which will be held in Baku in November this year.”
This was stated in a statement to “Report” by Kirsti Narinen, Finnish ambassador to Azerbaijan and other countries in the South Caucasus.
“Our president’s participation in COP29 shows that climate issues, including the effects of climate change, mitigation and adaptation, are of great importance for Finland. We will also send an expert group and a business delegation to the conference. We have a tradition and We try to achieve concrete results in this type of conferences. We want to contribute to the event and we are sure that we will be able to achieve it,” he stated.
