President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh leader.
The head of the Republic of Kazakhstan was received at Ashgabat airport by the national leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the visit, negotiations will take place between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The head of the Republic of Kazakhstan is expected to inaugurate a monument to Abai in Ashgabat and participate in the International Forum “The relationship of times and civilizations: the basis of peace and development.”
