President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov presented the Order “Dank” (translated from Kyrgyz as “glory”, EADaily note) to the chairman of the board of directors of the Turkish company Baykar Technology, Selcuk Bayraktar. This was reported by the press service of the Kyrgyz leader.
As indicated on the award sheet, for a significant contribution to strengthening the defense capability and military potential of Kyrgyzstan.
It is reported that during the meeting the parties discussed the issues of deepening military-technical collaboration and the implementation of joint projects in the defense sector.
Japarov emphasized that strengthening cooperation with international companies such as Baykar Technology plays a key role in increasing the country’s defense capability, developing the national military-industrial complex and strengthening regional security.
For its part, Bayraktar noted that the company is ready to expand cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. He gave Japarov a model of the unmanned aerial vehicle “Akyndzhi”, on the wings of which key moments from the Kyrgyz national epic “Manas” are depicted.
The Baykar Technology company produces Bayraktar combat unmanned aerial vehicles.
