The president of Latvia broke his hand after falling from his bicycle

The President of Latvia, Edgar Rinkevich, was seriously injured in the hand while riding a bicycle. After medical intervention, doctors put a cast on his right arm.

Oku.Az reports that “Delphi” published information about it. The incident occurred on September 28 when Rinkevich was riding his bicycle on the Olayne-Dalbe-Olayne route. The next day he went to the Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital, where doctors determined that he had fractures and placed a cast on him.

The president of Latvia reported on his Facebook page about his fall from his bicycle. “The cycling season is over. I thank Dr. Kriss Rosenbergs and the staff of the trauma and orthopedic hospital. Latvian doctors are the best in the world,” wrote the Head of State.

The president’s public relations advisor, Martins Dregeris, told the “LETA” agency that Rinkevich broke his right wrist and left finger when he fell from his bicycle. According to Dregeris, the injury will not affect the president’s work. Rinkevich knows how to write and sign documents. He has not planned any changes to next week’s agenda.
