“In Azerbaijan, production of EU-95 gasoline began several months ago and is sold at regulated prices for 1.60 AZN.”
This was stated by Rauf Gurbanov, head of the Department of Economy of the Ministry of Energy, during the discussion of the proposed amendment to the law “On the effective use of energy resources and energy efficiency” at today’s meeting of the Resources Council Natural, Energy and Ecology Committee of the Milli Majlis.
He said that the price of EU-95 brand gasoline is not yet included in the list of products sold at regulated prices:
“Soon the Cabinet of Ministers will add EU-95 to this list. Gasoline of the EU-98 brand is not produced in our country. Therefore, its price is not regulated.”
It should be noted that currently the price of EU-92 brand gasoline in Azerbaijan is regulated by the state.
