From May 1, fuel prices at YPF stations – for a liter – were set as follows:
- Super gasoline: 1170 dollars.
- Gasoline premium -class: 1386 dollars.
- Gasail: $ 1173.
- Premium Diesel: $ 1354.
“YPF meets with an obligation to offer products of the highest quality market and with a price agreement with its consumers,” said the company sent by Gorasio Marin.

Even the representative of President Manuel Adornie stated at the press conference that “this is the second time when fuel prices are decreasing last year.”
The government will not update fuel taxes in May
For its part, the government also confirmed that it postponed the renewal of liquid fuel tax (ICL) and carbon dioxide (IDC) until the beginning of June.
Although the adjustment was planned for Thursday, the truth is that this measure was transferred in accordance with the announcement of YPF.
“This measure seeks to maintain the stability of prices in the context of inflationary slowdown and macroeconomic consolidation, which is priority for relief for consumers, without affecting the competitiveness of the energy sector,” the Ministry of Energy said.
