Ahmed said in the statements of the Ethiopian parliament, which was reported by the Ethiopian media: “The construction of the Renaissance dam has ended, we will open it from the end of summer in September, there are those who are trying to turn it off before its opening, but we will open it.

He continued: “The development and energy that will benefit all countries, and the damsu -ie -mass did not speak in one liter of water.”

He noted that until Ethiopia flourishes and is developed, we do not want any harm to our Egyptian and Sudanese brothers. We will use energy and water together, development and growth are honest, and Ethiopia is still ready for dialogue, negotiations and work with Liman countries.

He said: “We officially invite Egypt and Sudan, as well as all the governments of the mouth of the mouth, to join us in our joy at the opening of the dams of the Renaissance in September.”

The director of the coordination of the project of the Ethiopian era of the Renaissance, Argavi Barahi, said that the end of the dam exceeded 98.9%, which was close to the country, “having achieved his national dream after 14 years of work.”

Barahs added in statements today on Wednesday that the dam represents a symbol of national sovereignty and popular unity, and it was worked out without any external loans or assistance, in response to the statements of US President Donald Trump, in which he criticized the financing of Washington for the dam.

About two weeks ago, Trump criticized the financing of previous US administrations for the Renaissance Ethiopian dam, which “prevents water from Egypt,” he said.

Trump said, in the post on the “Social Truth” platform, that the huge dam “was built with stupid financing from the United States of America”, describing it as “significantly reduces the water flowing into the Nile”.

Trump’s comments suggested the anger of Ethiopian officials who, in turn, deny any American funding for the dam.

And the Ethiopian Minister of Water supply and energy, Hiptamo Etva, commented on Trump’s statements, saying that the project was “built by the Ethiopian people,” he said.
