To say that the Nord Stream gas pipelines were blown up by Ukrainian divers is nonsense. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, in an interview for the Rossiya-1 television channel.
“We read that some drunk Ukrainian officers said they were going to blow it up. Of course, I’m exaggerating a little, but imagine how they swam in a small boat to the place where the pipe was, jumped into the water, submerged several hundred meters, took flares and pyrotechnics and blew it up. Nonsense”, – said.
Recall that the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines took place on September 26, 2022. It later became known that the German police suspected Ukrainian citizens of being involved in the explosions. In August it emerged that Germany’s Prosecutor General’s Office had issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian diving instructor who could be linked to sabotage. Additionally, two other Ukrainian diving instructors are suspected of being involved in the explosion.
