The Prode Foundation inaugurated this Wednesday at Pozoblanco a new complete health and well-being center (Cenis) offering a wide range of services focused on “the development and care of each person,” creating, as stated, “an environment of support and growth that encompasses both physical and emotional aspects.” The exact location is Almería Street, number 57.
The new center has a multidisciplinary team made up of six professionals and adapted services all ages. The multisensory room is installed in a first phase thanks to a donation of ‘the Caixa’.
The Prode Foundation’s new equipment will offer physiotherapy, psychology, therapeutic pedagogy, speech therapy, personalized educational support, social skills development, hydrotherapy and mindfulness services. This range of services, intended for people of all ages, can be expanded according to the needs and requests of customers.
Cenis is a differential service
In addition, this Cenis has the first multisensory room in the northern area of Córdoba, a space designed to enrich the therapeutic experience, aimed at relaxation, reduction of anxiety and improvement of sensory response.
Present at the opening ceremony were Araceli Araujo, head of the children and youth sector of Prode; Blas García, president of the entity, and Santiago Cabello, mayor of Pozoblanco.
Araujo highlighted the “great experience of the multidisciplinary team that makes up this new center” and added that Cenis seeks to offer “a differential service whose added value is based on membership in the Prode Foundation”.
Blas García declared, for his part, that Pozoblanco and the Los Pedroches neighborhood “They are our roots and our origin, and we will continue to work here” and added that their “objective is to continue moving forward in everything that involves caring for vulnerable sectors such as disability or dependency”.
