Kamala Harris, current vice president of the United States and candidate for head of state for the Democratic Party, defeated her Republican Party opponent, the former head of the White House, Donald Trump, in the vote held on the island of Guam. The island of Guam is an unincorporated territory of the United States and is called the “territory of prophecy.”
Oku.Az “New York Post” reported on this.
“According to all congressional districts, Harris defeated Trump by 49.46% to 46.22%,” the publication writes.
The publication explains that since 2004 the voting results on the island of Guam, under US control, correctly predict the winner of each presidential election.
The newspaper highlights that, although the voting results in this region are not taken into account during the vote count, it plays an important role for political scientists and sociologists.
