The study will therefore include the detection of new opportunities and the strengthening of current reference sectors. Regarding the detection of new opportunities, for the development of the project, the resources and capabilities of the province will prevail to attract new sectors, taking into account those related to the current industry, as well as emerging sectors that operate in other regions at the national and regional level. . international (technological, energy, health and wellness, aerospace, etc.). Regarding the promotion of current reference sectors, the position in current sectors where the province is a reference will be defended and strengthened, such as ceramics, logistics, chemistry, agriculture or the service sector, among others.

The project includes full support to the Provincial Council of Castellón, from the definition of the Economic development plan until its implementation and contact with potential investors and industry players. Thus, for approximately the first year of the project, its coordination will be ensured. This first block includes the definition of the investment attraction strategy, the implementation of the strategy and the support to attract investments.
