The president of Provincial Council of Córdoba, Salvador Fuentesaccompanied by the delegate for Culture of the provincial institution, Gabriel Duque, signed two collaboration agreements with the Cordoba Orchestrathe Artdecor Foundation, the Contemporary Architecture Foundation and the Federation of Amateur Theater Groups.
According to Salvador Fuentes, these are “agreements that, with 253,000 euros, will allow us to support cultural proposals that have a consolidated history in Córdoba and its province and that allow us to bring quality culture to many of our municipalities.
Public-private collaboration
“With this signature and the development of the initiatives it implies, the commitment of this Provincial Deputation to cultural projects and initiatives emanating from entities and associations is evident, which shows the importance of public-private collaboration ” Fuentes said.
The president of the provincial institution underlined “the importance of the cultural sector as a tool for the development and promotion of our villages, which has become a driving force in the local economy and, therefore, essential for fixing the population in the territory“.
Regarding the agreements signed, Fuentes clarified that “the agreement with the Cordoba Orchestra, to which we have allocated a total of 200,000 euros, will allow us to continue a consolidated program with great impact in our municipalities, as the Cycle of educational concerts“.
