The Provincial Delegation of Córdoba joins the Meeting of the Rocío brotherhoods of the province in Priego

Everything is prepared in Priego de Córdoba to host the fourth edition of the Meeting of Brotherhoods of Rocieras of the province, which will take place next Saturday, November 9 in this municipality.

The delegate of the Presidency, Internal Government and Housing of the provincial institution, Martha Silespresented this Wednesday at the Palacio de la Merced the meeting in which the corporations of Rocío de Cabra, Lucena, Puente Genil, Montoro, Priego and Córdoba participate, as well as those of Montequinto, Granada and the Matriz de Almonte Brotherhood.

Marta Siles was accompanied by Rocío de Priego’s older brother, José Antonio Pérez, and they announced the postercreated by the Sevillian artist Manuel Mena, as reported in a press release.

The meeting in Rocío, which is part of the events celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Parish of the Assumption of Priego, will begin with the reception of the Simpecados of all participating brotherhoods.

In the afternoon there will be a solemn Eucharist in the parish of the Assumption and a procession through the streets of Priego. The meeting will end with coexistence of all participants.
