The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañuecoand the spokesperson for Vox in the courts of Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo, were involved in a fight this Tuesday during the regional plenary session when Gallardo asked Mañueco if he was left-wing and if he would continue to govern. to obtain the applause of the leaders of the PSOE. “It seems that this is the case, but for this it will be necessary to look for other partners as requested by the advisory council,” said the Vox spokesperson. Faced with this, the President of the Council responded that “the loudest applause” that the PSOE gave took place when Vox left the government of Castilla y León. “This is the reality,” said Mañueco, who stressed that Pedro Sánchez “sees that he is delighted” with the team led by Santiago Abascal.
During the parliamentary face to face, Gallardo took advantage of his turn to speak to criticize the People’s Party policieswhich he described as “abortive” and close to the 2030 Agenda. “Did you ask PP voters what they thought of an abortive government, of a government that favors illegal mass immigration , of a pro-2030 agenda government, of a government that favors abortion? What tax cut is opposed by a historic revanchist government? Have you asked yourself? Because there is one thing that is clear, taking votes from the right to pursue left-wing policies has a name, which is political fraud,” he denounced.
Gallardo, on the other hand, clarified that Mañueco is not a “progress by conviction“and yes “for convenience” and until last July accused his government partner of “lowering his head, respecting and accepting” the orders of his party in the “sole principle” of “power for power’s sake” to which the President of the Council responded that Vox had “already forgotten” the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the people of Castilla y León.
In his response, Mañueco disgraced the Vox spokesperson because he was “obsessed with PP» and he replied that he had already forgotten Sánchez. “They are once again making themselves the wrong adversary,” he refuted.
He also recalled that Vox left the Regional Executive on the orders of the national leadership of the party in Madrid and criticized the fact that, since the formation of Abascal, they care more about the political strategies as the interests of the citizens of Castilla y León. “Don’t blame others of what you haven’t been able to do for two and a half years. What you have shown is that you are a puppets of their bosses in Madrid“, declared the President of the Council, in line with the reproach launched by Gallardo, who also accused Fernández Mañueco of having followed the orders of the members of the National Directorate of the PP, among whom he expressly cited Borja Sémper, Cuca Gamarra and the “supreme leader” Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
