The PSOE widens its distance with the Popular Party to almost five percentage points, against the 2.5 points which separated them in October, according to the November barometer of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS), which measures for the first time the DANA consequences of the policies that covered entire villages in the province of Valencia with mud, the main victim of the tragedy, and which have already caused at least 225 deaths, including 219 in the Valencian Community alone.

The fieldwork of the study, carried out between November 2 and 7 through 4,010 interviews, was carried out after the tragic October 29, the day of severe floods which opened a schism between the central government and regional governments in due to responsibilities in the delayed response and subsequent management of disasters.

Pressure on the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has increased as new details of what happened that day become known; Just as the role of the third vice-president and Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, has also been called into question due to the alleged lack of information, or at least that is how the PP interprets it, from the share of the Hydrographic Confederation of Júcar, an organization dependent on its department, on the evolution of flows.
