The PSOE will present this Friday a joint complaint for insults and slander against Victor de Aldama on behalf of all members of the party and the Government to whom the businessman referred in his statement the day before before the National Court.
“A country like Spain cannot allow the political agenda to be set by confessed criminals who slander without proofto leave Soto del Real and sleep at home”, affirm socialist sources, after the alleged commissioner of the Koldo affair reported before the judge the president of the government, Pedro Sanchezand several members of its executive, as well as the number three of the PSOE, Santos Cerdan.
An explosive declaration following which the socialists already announced on Thursday that they would undertake legal actions against Aldama, which Judge Santiago Pedraz, who is investigating another case – VAT fraud on hydrocarbons – then left released with precautionary measures.
The Minister of Territorial Policy, Angel Victor Torresone of those named by Aldama, who accuses him of having requested 50,000 euros for the plot, announced during a press conference that he would present legal proceedings this Friday against what he described as accusations “very serious” “without evidence”. “Lies cannot be free”he warned. “We will exercise relevant legal actions to defend honor and reputation,” he also indicated.
