The PSOE Ethics and Guarantees Commission has decided suspend the process of party primaries in Castilla y León which had been convened on November 9, before the federal congress scheduled for the end of the same month, as confirmed by socialist sources. However, the Ethics and Guarantees Commission, which is the body that monitors compliance with the PSOE statutes, has decided to adopt this decision to clarify whether there is a discrepancy in the interpretation of the statutes.
For his part, the general secretary of the PSOE of Castilla y León, Luis Tudanca, issued a statement that begins as follows: “First the country, then the party and finally yourself.
