Regarding the possibility of having more candidates for the PSOE Regional Secretariat, the deputy secretary general, Cristina Maestre, says that it is not in their plans “now”, although if it existed, they would accept them “with the greatest respect”.
The PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha will hold its XIII Regional Congress on January 18 and 19, probably in Toledoas approved by acclamation this Saturday by the Regional Committee of the PSOE, during which the socialists unanimously informed the current Secretary General, Emiliano García-Page, that they did not conceive of “any other option than his” at the head of the General Secretariat.

Asked about the possible candidacy of García-Page, Maestre stressed that the socialist “was very cautious and did not express himself” during the conclave, although he admitted that the regional PSOE felt “that the president could be in a position to give the step.”
