An indictment has been prepared against the well-known presenter Mehmet Ali Erbil and the famous performer Serdar Ortaç within the framework of the investigation “Illegal advertising and promotion of betting” carried out by the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office.
Oku.Azreferring to “Haber Global”, the prosecution requested the maximum prison sentence of up to 3 years for both suspects.
The document claimed that both committed crimes by advertising illegal gambling content on social media platforms.
It should be remembered that last week in Türkiye there was a dispute between them over the accusation of “promoting illegal gambling.” Serdar Ortach, Mehmet Ali Erbilformer footballer Batuhan Karadeniz, social media phenomena İbrahim Yılmaz, Muzaffer Zorbey Erkoçkar, Sefa Caner Sarıçam and a total of 23 people have been investigated. Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil were sentenced to house arrest.
