THE protection orders and legal measures for gender violence requested in Palma in 2023 increased by 35% compared to 2022, with a total of 970, as explained by the sociologist from Palma City Hall. The rate of complaints for gender violence in the judicial district of Palma is 110.5 per 10,000 womenthe highest in the national territory, while at at the state level the figure is 62.7 and in the Balearic Islands, 95.
