The T-shirts carry messages against the socialist government of Pedro Sanchez and slogans in favor of right-wing parties, such as “I like fruits‘.
Raquel, a street vendor in the market, who has been working for 30 years, denounces the situation in which they live and shows her indignation: “I have received insults several times because I had the Palestinian flag. It is sad that next to this flag,” she says, pointing to Palestine – and those who support public health are the Francoists, who should be banned,” he says; and adds that, for example, in Germany, you do not find flags in the streets, nor anything that has to do with Hitler. “But it is still allowed here,” she is indignant.
But in Spain it is legal, that is why it is still allowed. And the law on democratic memory allows them to be sold, preserved and even exhibited as long as they do not take place in a place or event dependent on a public institution.
