The conflict between Syrian rebels and Bashar al-Assad’s forces was reactivated in a few days. The alliance formed by Salafist group Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS) and other rebel organizations linked to the Al-Qaeda environment launched an offensive with which they obtained enter Aleppo, the second largest city in the country. Many residents have already left the city out of fear that war will break out in the city again, as happened in 2016.
This attack allowed the rebels take more than 50 cities in the north of the country in just two days, during which at least 255 deaths have already occurred, including 24 civilians. It all started with the explosion of two car bombs and the withdrawal of part of the armies of Russia and Iranwhich caused great weakness to the al-Asad regime and which was taken advantage of to provoke the greatest escalation seen in years.
