The roof of a residential building in Baku collapsed and the apartment was rendered unusable.
According to Khezerxeber.az, the incident took place in the settlement of Bayil, Sabail district of the capital.
As a result of the incident, the things in the house were destroyed. The owner of the house, Mammadali Hummetov, said that everything in the apartment was damaged.
Mammadali Hummetov, a 30-year-old resident of 24 Dağlı Street, says he was at home when the incident occurred.
According to him, although in 2000 it was declared that the 119-year-old two-storey residential building was in a state of emergency, about 60 inhabitants of the building still live there.
Regarding the problem faced by the residents, the Executive Branch of the Sabail district informed that representatives of the relevant institution were invited to the area due to the incident. In relation to this issue, the Executive Branch has already addressed official appeals to the relevant institutions.
