The signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran is being prepared in the near future. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, at the plenary session of the Second Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.

“The upcoming agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran will be an important factor in strengthening Russian-Iranian relations. The agreement, as I said, is being prepared for signature in the near future.” – said.
