The Russian army bombed an important bridge near Odessa with missiles

The Russian military launched a massive missile attack on a large bridge crossing the Dniester estuary in the Odessa region.

As Ukrainian sources explain, one of the targets was the railway-road drawbridge, known in Ukraine as the “Zatoka bridge.”

This 350-meter-long structure connects Odessa and the city of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. The bridge also serves as a road and rail link with Moldova and Romania.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the attacks, but according to data from Ukrainian sources, the Russians fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea and eight Kh-59/69 guided missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.

The military correspondent confirmed the information about the attack on an important bridge on his Telegram channel. Evgeniy Poddubny. He noted that the Zatoka Bridge is one of the key transport arteries benefiting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern sector of the front.

“In Odessa itself, explosions were heard in the port area. “Here, the likely target was vessels involved in arms trafficking.” – suggested the military correspondent.

Previously EADaily reported that the Kyiv regime was preparing Odessa for war in Transnistria. In anticipation of retaliatory attacks, a hasty evacuation of Odessa higher military educational institutions is underway.
