Washington and London are directly involved in the terrorist attack on Nord Stream. This was stated by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin, at the 55th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States.
“The SVR has reliable information about the direct involvement of the United States and Great Britain in this major terrorist attack (on Nord Stream – TASS note),” he said. “According to available data, professional saboteurs from the Anglo-Saxon intelligence services participated in its organization, preparation and execution.”
The investigation into this sabotage in the West, according to Naryshkin, “is still ongoing, but its progress does not allow us to hope that the true culprits of the incident will be identified and punished.”
“Russia has repeatedly asked the Europeans for data on the explosions, but has never received them. Western media are trying to blame a group of Ukrainian amateur divers who supposedly acted independently. However, this version is designed for the average naive person.” – stressed the head of the SVR quoted by TASS.
According to him, the American administration “considered it justified to carry out such sabotage to ensure the separation of Europe and, above all, Germany from Russia.”
“Washington was not sure it could convince the Europeans to abandon the use of Nord Stream, which was extremely beneficial for the European economy, so the pipelines were destroyed.” – Narishkin explained.
