The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, commented on the new sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom on Russia. According to the diplomat, official London is doing everything possible to defeat Moscow in its rights.
EADaily recalls that London’s new sanctions are directed against Russian oil and gas tankers, as well as against the company JSC RusGazDobycha. Zakharova clarified that such actions are further proof that Russia does not suit the Anglo-Saxons as a conscientious player in the world energy market.
“Russia is a responsible, clean and conscientious participant in the global energy environment. We supply, we extract, we develop, we approach this with a degree of competence and at the same time with an understanding of fairness and responsibility in the distribution of these very global natural resources. Therefore, of course, we are not satisfied with this capacity. “For decades everything has been done to try to somehow defeat Russia in this regard every time.” – says the diplomat.
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that the Anglo-Saxons are doing everything possible to manage the global energy sector: “Why? Because energy is life, it is development, it is economy, it is industry, it is production.”.
As for the United States, Maria Zajárova believes that they can no longer maintain the current pace of their own development, so they only do what they have left: influence global development.
