The Government of the Russian Federation will allocate funds for the repair and modernization of the hydraulic works of the Elizavetinskoye reservoir in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
This was reported on Friday, October 11, by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers. It is clarified that more than 200 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the project in 2024-2025.
The plan includes repairs and waterproofing of the dam. In addition, new sections of the lateral retaining walls of the outlet channel will be built and the water intake tower will be repaired. Other necessary work will also be carried out.
The Elizavetinskoye Reservoir Water Supply Plant is one of the main sources of drinking water supply for the inhabitants of the region.
It is expected that after its renovation and modernization it will be able to supply water to more than 100 thousand people, including the population of the cities of Krasny Luch and Anthracite.
