As a result of the Russian attacks, all combined heat and power plants (CHP) supplying heat and electricity to the city of Kharkov were destroyed.
This statement was made on September 10 by the Prime Minister of Ukraine. Denis Shmygalspeaking at a briefing in Kyiv, he promised that mobile boiler rooms would be brought to the city during the winter.
“We focused on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region because we understand that the Russians actually destroyed all the thermal power plants around Kharkiv and took Kharkiv.
